Actress of ‘Ambari’ fame, Supritha now replaces Shuba Punj in ‘Putra’ after a few days of shooting.

The film ‘Putra’ starring Diganth and Shuba Punja in the direction of V Umakanth held a few days of shooting and it had to be stopped for reasons best known to director.

After a gap of few months ‘Putra’ is being re-launched with a new heroine Supritha replacing Shub Punja. Bidding good bye to ‘Putra’, Shuba Punja is now busy in ‘Kanteerava’ starring her best friend Vijay and says she waited for a long time for ‘Putra’ to complete and then took the decision to quit the film as the dates clashed.

As a matter of fact before Shuba Punj the director Umakanth consulted Supritha for the lead role and she quoted the dates problems as she was busy in two films and had a leg fracture. Ultimately, Supritha was meant to do it and she is doing it now!
